These are both lovely! I especially like the bucolic feel of the sheep in the field.

I love both of these, but I'm addicted tp pears in art! I have a mural in my living room of a blue tree, 9 golden pears and three ravens. I started painting large pears to try to accept my fuller figure I seem to have aquired in my later years. Pears, to me, are very Rubenesque.

I dig the pear piece. I like how you've used collage and painted over it. Nicely done.

These are both lovely! I love the texture in your work, and the clever use of materials. The pear piece with the beautiful flower is my favorite, but I also like the sheep with the bright red bird on the fence as well.

Love these Jo--very pastoral and serene. Grandma Moses' work comes to mind.

Hi Jo, I too lean toward the pear...the loose feel of both is inspiring! Glad to hear you took up the book suggestion. I could'nt put them down once I started. Thanks for your comment. I'm also happy to hear that you look forward to seeing them!

nice touch in both pieces. I personally lean more, towards the pastoral for some reason... maybe? cause for me it hints at being OUTsiDE again...(yeah outside!!!) The rose piece is very elegant and contemporary in feel
