CLEAN: God washes the Earth
Watercolor and ink. My thought was that God should wash the Earth clean of bombs, war, guns, pollution, prejudice, famine. I'm not happy with the words, I wanted them to look more like they were being washed out.

Great idea, wonderfully executed... pretty big subject! Like other commentors have said, the world desperately needs a thorough dunking... a flea dip? No, strike that, too toxic. Your idea's better.

what they said. also, i love the technique you used for the background. have tou ever tried sprinkling salt? it adds an interesting texture.
That's such a good idea, though I think God did try that once... It's too bad we can't learn for ourselves how to live in peace. Your illustration really brings home the idea that we have dirtied our planet in so many ways.
